Rakhi Celebration and a Seminar on POCSO Act.

Shree Radhagovind Vidyamandir,Ninat celebrated Rakshabandhan. The festival, traditionally celebrated between brothers and sisters, had taken on a new dimension within the school's walls. Instead of confining the celebration to biological relationships, the students embraced the spirit of unity by tying rakhis to each other. This act transcended the boundaries of gender, ethnicity, and background, fostering a sense of togetherness that was a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing holistic values.

The festival's significance went beyond the mere exchange of colorful threads. As the rakhis were tied, they symbolized not only the bond between siblings but also the collective strength of a community that cared for and protected one another. The vibrant atmosphere showcased the richness of Indian culture, where rituals and traditions evolve to reflect the evolving society.

one more event unfolded within the school premises. A seminar on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was organized, and the esteemed guest was Ms. Shehnaz Billimora graced the occasion as the resource person. She is the Principal of D.D Law College Navsari. She also secured the First Class & University First Rank in Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in LLB Examination and was awarded by the Late President of India Dr. APJ Abdul kalam.

Ms. Billimora's expertise and passion for child protection shone through her enlightening presentation. She delved into the provisions of the POCSO Act, elucidating its various dimensions and implications. Through real-life examples and relatable anecdotes, Ms. Billimora painted a vivid picture of the challenges children face and how the Act acts as a shield against these threats.

The seminar resonated with the essence of Rakshabandhan, as both events emphasized the significance of protection and unity. By shedding light on the POCSO Act, the school community was reminded that safeguarding our children's innocence and well-being requires a collective effort.
